I have a HP Pavilion a6585l

Napa N15235 mobo

Intel Quad Q6600 cpu

4GB DDR2-800 (2×2GB) ram

NVidia 9300 GE 3D gpu

I want to change my mobo for a better quality mobo (NOT HP) or Napa crap!

I dont need it to be great… just the basics. I need it to work with above hardware.

Can you please recommend a new mobo for this HP?

Answer:Hi,

tell us exactly what is causing you get dissapointed with your system mobo? I was checking at the the HP website the specs for this mobo and it seems to be a nice. Have you heard any issues about its performance? Does it overheat or something like that? It is not acting properly with the OS installed on your system?

Thre are many ways to customize a mobo, even tough if is a "piece of crap" .

First, take a look at the mobo specs provided by HP. Here is the link:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/docum…

Then after, think what piece of hardware in your motherboard can be giving you headaches, like for instance, a bad done soldering, a piece of cable that not properly adjusted, etc.

If you feel confortable with that, go to any electronic shop and get a tester and start testing the power supply connections first. Then after, check by trial and error the different pieces ogf h/w until you become a master in troubleshooting mobo. I guarantee you will have fun, and at the same time you will learn. Good luck.

But if you don't want to, just click on the below site and make a research for your model:

http://www.bizrate.com/motherboards/hp-p…

Answer:Actually, your motherboard is made by foxconn for HP. It is not necessarily a bad board. What prompts you to replace it? Does it work currently? If you want to replace it, do you have a brand you would like ? if not, I could recommend one. Do you have certain requirements ? or do you just want a reliable replacement ?

L

Answer:Any motherboard with an LGA775 SOCKET, Asus,Gigabyte. You could try here for a better idea.

http://www.google.co.uk/products?hl=en&c…

Answer:i belive the abit ip-35 pro would work with all that you can find it at Newegg.com. Its not the newest motherboard but its alot better than what you have now.

Can I?

Answer:Dear Friend,

Tip:

Always keep your important data in a non-system drive (the drive does not containing the operating system files, e.g. D, E). This will prevent loss of your important data and help you format and reinstall Microsoft Windows only for the C Drive without loosing your data.

If you are currently facing this situation, try the following:

[A]

1. Turn on your computer into Safe Mode by pressing the F8 button of your keyboard before the Operating System Boot process starts.

2. Keep backups of your important data on an another non-system drive (such as D, E); or on a removable storage (such as a pen drive, an external hard disk drive, or CD/ DVD ROM).

3. Format and reinstall Microsoft Windows Operating System.

[B]

Otherwise,

Boot your computer using Operating System Recovery CD/ DVD ROM; and backup your data, and format & reinstall Microsoft Windows.

[C]

An another lengthy option is for you that-

1. Run Microsoft Windows Setup.

2. If your data is stored in the C Drive, then, follow the setup; and choose NOT TO FORMAT the drive. This will preserve your old files and directly move them to a new folder named "Windows.Old" in the system drive (C).

3. After completion, backup your data, and, again, format and reinstall Microsoft Windows.

Answer:If you reinstalled your operating system (windows XP, vista, etc. ) then you cannot get your files back, you should have thought about that before reinstalling, it would have warned you about data lost.

If you simply "restarted" your computer by turning it on and off again then your data should not be lost. You could try a free program called Glary Utilities which has a deleted file recovery option.

Answer:If, when you were installing Windows, you chose a full format, it's all gone. If not, PhotoRec can probably get at least some of it back (http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/Digital_P… ) Any files you wrote over when you were installing Windows are gone. (Recuva won't work because the old directories are gone.)

This is one of the many reasons you should keep all important data backed up to another drive.

Answer:Try Recuva or something similar but there is no guarantee you'll get the data back.

I need help. How is it possible to delete a Maple story private server.

Answer:From your computer? Control Panel/Programs and Features (Add or Remove Programs in XP). Select the server. Uninstall (from the top in Vista/7, from the selection in XP).

I downloaded Camstudio today and I can't seem to find any of the videos I recorded. I saved them all and when I press save, nothing happens! How can I find these videos or save them properly?

Answer:I do a lot of screencasts for my educational video podcast, and the one I've found to be great and easy to use is Total Screen Recorder. The screen recording is rendered as .AVI / WMV / SWF / FLV.

http://www.converter123.com/Other-Softwa…

Answer:When you click Stop to finish recording, it should prompt you to choose a location on your hard drive. You have to remember this location to access your videos. Just remember to wait for it to finish compressing the audio first, otherwise it will not be completely saved.

This should at least happen if you're using version 2.0. If not, just use that version, it's really the best release of it, http://camstudio.org/

Answer:The Videos will be in the Camtasia or camstudio file folder. Did you save as a Project?

.Campro AND .camproj is the usual extensions is saves the videos in.

Look into search and look for it by the name you saved it under. This is your best bet and also looking in the programs folder first. I won camtasia 5.0 so I have a idea where they should be.

take care

I have picasa picture editing software, and some pictures on there came up from previous partitions or some other place on the hard drive. How can I clear everything without rebooting from scratch or is that the only option? I've tried other times rebooting Windows from scratch, but that doesn't erase everything. It's weird.

Answer:Rebooting means restarting.

You probably mean reinstalling?

If its just the pics, delete them in picasa, but if you want to be completely sure you'll have to format all hard disks and reinstall windows.

In my documents, a folder called "My Art" keeps appearing.. No matter how many times I try to delete it, it just keeps on coming back!!

I never make this folder, nor does it have anything in it.

Answer:Often times an application will create folders in My Documents when you start the application. If you delete the folder, the next time the application starts it will check to see if that folder exists and if not it will re-create it. Once you delete the folder, you may see it again on reboot, if you open the application, or use the application after you've deleted the folder.

Answer:Why worry about it.

If the folder is empty, or only contains a sample or two,

it is not taking up any significant memory, and won't slow your computer.

If it contains any samples, you can delete these, and after your next

startup the folder may be there but it should be empty.

Don't loose sleep over this. It is a windows thing that is not worth

your time or worry.

Answer:what operating system are you using. if its xp the art folder is probably in the all users folder. just delete it from there.

my computer>local disk(default c:)>documents and settings>all users>my art

Answer:It's probably needed for a program you have on your computer.

Answer:theres an ART in getting rid of it…

Answer:You don't need software to download something on a web browser… all browsers come with a downloader. Just download it on Chrome without any software "used to make it work."

Answer:i guess you are talking about an download manager . if so you can use IDM in chrome . http://fich.web.id/how-to-integrate-inte…

Answer:just get a download manager like utorrent

I find both types of doctors to be qualified. I actually slightly prefer Doctors of Osteopathic medicine because there is a lesser bias towards prescribing pills

Answer:You need to clarify your question.

Do you mean "What is the best doctor, a MD or a DO"

A MD is a medical doctor, and can be general/family or specialty, like cardiac.

A DO as if think you are asking is a Doctor of Optometry, who is an eye specialist,

and may also be a MD

i have a dell inspiron 15 and my built in webcam doesnt work. when i try to use it it says plaese plug in a webcam. please tell me whats wrong.

Answer:Test your webcam on the free test site (link below). If you can see yourself the webcam is working fine, and you will have to make sure your video chat program Setting option for camera is the same device name. If the test site fails then you will need to reload the drivers for your webcam Use the free test site whenever you have a concern on the webcam and to verify it is working correctly.

Answer:easy way to solve your problem: take it to the service station or dealer.

where were you trying to use it ?? i mean to ask, were u using it on yahoo messenger/skype etc ??? If yes then this is not the problem of your webcam, you just have to change settings in messenger.

Answer:I have never had that issue. Probably your burner. Or try another application.

Answer:I have win 7 and have no problems burning cds, its most likely your cd programe not compatible with win 7, search on your web browser for cd burning software for win 7, I use NTI, its great for cd and dvd. good luck

Lack of information makes this hard to understand what is going on, but if possible you may want to attempt to start your computer in Safe Mode with networking and then run an anti-virus/malware scanner. Safe Mode will start Windows with only the bare necessities running, so chances are your computer infection will be dormant during this time and not interfere with the virus scanner's attempts to detect it.

If you have one on your computer and it is malfunctioning, you can always use an online scanner such as Trend Micro's Housecall (link in sources) to find and quarantine the computer infection.

To go into Safe Mode, you must restart your computer and press the F8 key before the windows logo appears. It will bring up a list of options such as:

-Safe Mode

-Safe Mode with command prompt

-Safe Mode with networking

You will want to select Safe mode with networking so you can access the internet while in safe mode. Once you are on your desktop, open your internet browser and proceed to the website I have provided for you.

I hope this solves your problem! If not please explain in detail what is wrong with your computer. I am not a mind reader :P

Answer:Boot your computer in safe mode by pressing F8 when you see the first screen pop up. Then you should choose 'Safe Mode With Networking'. You should be able to go to the internet and download a free program called Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. (Just google MBAM). Download and run this program. It should take care of your problems.

If this doesn't work then go to a different computer, download Combofix (google it) and put it on a flash drive and transfer it to the infected computer. Run it and be sure to read all of the instructions it pops up with. If the combofix won't work then you will need to take it to a local computer repair place. :-(

i want to watch movies on my tv through my computer, my tv is from 2002 and its a crt and it has plugs for compoite cables. my computer is from 2002 and i think it has a vga plug, which my computer monitor is hooked up to. whats the best way to connect my tv and computer so i can watch movies? is there a vga plug that will have an end for the vga and one for the composite plug? also my dvd player has an s- video hole, so can i plug a vga with an s-video end into my dvd player and since my dvd is connected to my tv through composite cables, would content on my computer show up on my tv that way? is there anyway to have my computer monitor plugged in and my tv plugged in to my computer and show the same things at the same time?

also can i use a vga splitter to have my monitor and tv show picture at the same time

Answer:If you want to watch (things that are on TV) on the computer you'll need a TV tuner for your computer. If you want to watch (things that are on the computer) on the TV you'll need an adapter from VGA to composite or S-Video, whichever you prefer.

TV Tuner - I've found that the best one is the Hauppauge 950Q.

Adapters - read http://askville.amazon.com/Connecting-VG…

Answer:it sounds like from your details that you won't be able to do this unless you are using a cable box or a vca as the tuner fo rthe tv as the connections on the tv are inputs, not outputs and the vga on the computer is output not input.

you will need a video captuer on the computer to do what you ask if you have an external signal tuner.

as for showing what's on your computer on your tv, ythe same card will do this or an adapter specifically from vga or usb to composite.

Answer:your tv won't show good resolution, so I'd abandon your plan.

better to get a new computer with an hdmi output and a new hd tv with an hdmi input.

What I would like to do is have a spreadsheet with two cells linked by a common factor–where entering data would not destroy this information.

That is, I would like a "diameter" cell that equals 2 times a "radius" cell, but ideally the spreadsheet should accept input in either cell–and calculate the missing counterpart by either multiplying or dividing by two.

Is this possible?

Answer:You can not have a formula in each cell that references the other as you will get a circular reference.

You will need to have an entry cell and then a calculation underneath each entry cell.

Why is this happening???

There is this person that is my friend on facebook and is showing up in my friends list however whenever i go to her page it acts as if I am not, it says the "add as friend" or whatever. Then if I click it it says "already connected"… any ideas?

Answer:That happened to me, with my sister. She didn't want my seeing her full profile, but she didn't want to erase me, either. So, she made her profile so that I can't see anything she has (blocked what I could or couldn't see). That's what happened to you, I guess. Sorry.

I might be wrong, of course.

Is that possible to add TWO Google Analytics tracking codes to one site? To track different folders (ie: one Google analytics to www.site.com/folder_1/, and another Google analytics code to track www.site.com/folder_2/ )

Answer:Tvangeste,

YES, it's feasible to have 2 Google Analytics (GA) Tracking Codes (GATC) within the same site/page, but I strongly discourage you to do it for the sole purpose of tracking 2 folders. Google provides you with a better (flexible) way to do it.

Instead, put only one GATC, and within GA, create 2 site profiles with the same exact info (i.e., same web site URL, except the names that could be "Site Folder1" and "Site Folder2"). Hence, the GATC will be exactly the same, so no need to copy 2 different GATC's in the site/page.

Then create one filter in each profile (one at a time) using the "Filter Manager", which can be found in 2 ways:

1) at the bottom right of the GA dashboard, aside to "Add Website profile" and "User Manager".

2) by displaying the settings of the site (click "Edit" in the "Action" column in the GA dashboard), and click on "Add Filter" within the 3rd section "Filters Applied to Profile".

When you're there, select the predefined "subdirectory" feature, then select "Include only / traffic from the subdirectories / that begin with", and finally enter the folder info "^/folder".

Repeat for folder2 (Add a new site profile from the dashboard. This time select "Add a Profile for an existing domain", pick the same URL as the 1st profile. Validate and go create the 2nd filter as aforementioned).

Note: if the **full path** of no other resource (whether a page or directory) within your site starts with "folder1", enter "^/folder1" without the trailing "/", otherwise enter "^/folder1/" to differentiate the folder from the other resource(s) except if you've implemented a redirection of "^/folder1" to "^/folder1/".

See the 2 references from Google Analytics Help Center I have provided you with below for guidance.

What can I do to reduce/eliminate video lag?

I am running a 2.8GHz processor, 4GB RAM, Radeon HD4650 video card (AGP 8x with 1GB DDR2 video RAM) and Vista Enterprise.

I have searched the web for a few hours looking for a possible solution. Any suggestions are welcome. I refuse to resort to "video accelerator" programs, most are worthless in the long run.

I'm upgraging my hard drive to an SATA from IDE. My motherboard already has two onboard SATA ports, I just have never used them. Do I need to get an SATA controller card as well now that I'm upgrading? I didn't think I did, but read something that made me second guess. I want to be sure before I make any purchase.

The amount of stuff on the hard drive (user accounts are stored on the hard drive) has absolutely no9thing to do with the speed of the computer, until you run out of free space on the hard drive. (Three user accounts take up almost no space.)

Answer:No

if their all lodged in at once it would have the same effect as one account running the same Number of programs as the total number running and may then make a small difference, but in general if used one at at time as you would most likely be doing it would have no impact. in fact there are already several accounts used internally by your computer anyway (just not ones people can log in as)

Answer:Depends on how much space they use or if they're logged on when you're using the computer (i.e. they have programs running at the same time - achieved via the 'switch user' option)

If they use a lot of space and are logged on, then it'll be slow, else it wouldn't matter much.

Answer:Definitely possible, as it needs to juggle all three. It shouldn't affect it in a bad way really, it'll just be using more resources to juggle the accounts. But it will make it significantly faster if you all share the one account.

Answer:If its your computer then make the other accounts standard users or better yet force em to use a guest account so as to limit the damage they can do

Answer:The accounts themselves won't slow it down, but if one account has a bunch of software or files, that could slow it down

Answer:Well, three accounts is'nt that much..

But every account DOES slow it down due to more memory being taken up….

Answer:no but the other users may do stuff to the computer that would slow it down

Answer:i dont think so because my hp computer has five user accounts and it seems okay

Answer:No.

For playing games on high settings like sims 3 ?

ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5470 Graphics (512MB VRAM)

Answer:That is a laptop based video card. It will do well for games like Sims 3 and World of Warcraft that aren't exceptionally demanding.

It will fail miserably at graphically intense games like Crysis or Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Answer:It's a mobility (laptop) card. I wouldn't hope to play the graphics intensive games on high settings.

Answer:yup good for regular new games

Just got a new iPOD Touch and cannot hook up to my wifi because I forgot my password. Any ideas on how to get it from my computer w/o reseting the router or using password recovery software?

Answer:Here is a password recovery tool

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/wireless_ke…

You can also view the password on your router:

1.What brand of router do you have?

2.once we know that we can log into the router

3.there will be a wireless security page with the password on it.

but if you have it saved on your computer the tool will work just fine.

Answer:log into your router through your pc. its usualy like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.2. type that ip in your address bar on your web browser. then log into your router and check wireless settings. it should show you the password.

Answer:Sometimes if you wire your connection and log into your router you can find the password.

I'm running Windows 7 and a few days ago it was running fine and fast but after I downloaded Kaspersky(from the actual site) it suddenly seems slower. It's noticeable in boot-up as it takes a few minutes rather than a few seconds and it takes a while to open up applications as it has long loading times. Is there anyway I can improve this?

Answer:Most computers actually run slow because of a hidden part of your system, which is constantly being used by Windows. This part of your PC is called the "registry" and is the central database for Windows, which stores everything from your latest emails to your desktop wallpaper. It's one of the most important parts of Windows and can easily make your PC run slow. The more corrupt registry files your computer has, the more it struggles to read them. The files which makes it run slower and slower. To fix this, you simply need to use a registry cleaner http://computer-e-book-money.com/ . These are small software tools which actually work by scanning through the registry and fixing any bad files that are in there. This then allows Windows to read as many files as it wants, when it wants to.

Answer:I have never used Kaspersky personally but many security programs will do a start-up scan on computer boot-up to search for viruses/trojans/malware that are loading up when the computer starts.

Also common with most scanners is the real-time scanning part of the program, which will usually scan files being accessed and used in real-time to detect and threats and block them before it happens. This could be one of the reasons why your computer seems more sluggish.

You may want to look into Kaspersky's settings and see if there are any options regarding this matter.

Answer:Not sure how to improve it, but I can tell you why. Kaspersky, being a real-time protection antivirus program, is constantly monitoring your computer, always on the hunt for malicious software that could be affecting your computer. Therefore, it is using some of your system memory (RAM) and your processor. Now that I think about it, I suppose the only effective way to improve the speed of your computer is to either upgrade your RAM if you have 1GB or less, or disable real-time protection and remember to scan your computer manually on a regular basis (the latter (disabling real-time protection) is definitely easier to do).

Answer:Kaspersky seems to use a lot of system memory and is always running as a background process and will use more memory when opening files to check them for viruses (a bit like norton anti-virus).

I would suggest changing your anti-virus security app to Microsoft Security Essentials which is just as good, simpler to use and doesn't hog as much memory.

Answer:That's what kapersky does. You can disable it or deal with it slowing down.

Answer:Get AVG anit-virus free edition, it doesnt slow the computer down and ive been using it for 3 years with no problem at all

I am making a video and I need parts of the video to have no audio, and parts to have full audio. Problem is, I thought if I just decreased the audio wave to a -48 you wouldn't be able to hear it. But you still can. How do I completely eliminate the audio in designated patches of a video?

Answer:Bringing it down to -48 should do the trick. Check your keyframes. You need to set one at the beginning of the muted stretch and one at the end so it's completely silenced. The problem might be that you only have one keyframe set for the beginning.

How many audio tracks do you have in there? You might just have a track that's playing on its own without you noticing it and that needs to be silenced as well.

Worst comes worse, if you have Soundbooth, fiddle with the sound in there.

There's a significant price difference, and I'm just wondering what the main differences are?

Answer:Which version of Elements 8? There is a Photoshop and a Premiere Elements 8.

If you are talking about Photoshop version, then there is a vast difference, firstly Elements being designed for basic photo editing, while Premiere is a video editor.

If you are talking about the Premiere version, then there is quite a bit of difference. Premiere Elements is a basic video editor for those looking at making some home movies, for those who want to take a step up from Windows Movie Maker. Premiere Pro is a very professional movie editor designed for serious video making, usually used in conjunction with After Effects and numerous sound mixing programs.

If you want to make some basic movies, Elements 8 is quite good. If you are after a superior video editor, Premiere Pro is one of the best around.

Now I've heard that you need good RAM in order for your pc to run smoothly. I have 4GB OEM RAM. And when i say my pc is running slowly when in use i mean like accessing folders and transferring stuff and installing things it lags and sometimes freezes. If anyone could sugget why my pc is so slow with 4GB RAM that would be nice.

Answer:RAM is not the only factor, it also depends on your processor speed. Go to Start and right-click My Computer (or Computer in Vista or 7) and click Properties. Check the speed of your processor. If it's less than 1GHz then it's a tad too slow probably (even 1GHz isn't that great nowadays).

Answer:There are a number of things that could be going wrong. (What operating system do you have installed?)

1. You might have a virus or spyware.

2. You might have an error on your hard drive.

3. You may just have too many programs running in the background.

4. Your CPU might be running hot.

5. Your hard drive may be too full.

Download and install Ccleaner to get rid of files that are no longer doing anything but cluttering your hard drive.

You can run the disk check program to fix hard drive errors.

You can download and install MalwareBytes antispyware or Superantispyware and run full scans on your C:\ drive.

By the way, do you have an antivirus program that is installed and continuously updated?

You have not given us much to go on with your question. I suggest you do some research on your PC and submit another question.

Answer:Maybe it's infected with malware, or maybe you have a crappy cpu. possibilities are endless

Answer:Few things to take into account; how much RAM do you have installed? What is your processor speed? What is your graphics card?

Any computer should have at least 2GB RAM depending on if you have Vista, 7, XP etc. If all you do on your computer is word, internet and simple stuff like that then 2GB is fine. And a 2.00GHz processor would do.

If you do more serious programming like Photoshop, games etc. Then you should have around 6GB RAM on a 64 bit operating system (of course). There are heaps of processors you can choose from. From AMD, Intel, dual core, quad core there’s heaps. Right now, I would go for Intel dual core (not quad because most programs and games can only use 2 cores anyway) the i7 processors are good I think but I’m not sure because I haven’t used them. As long as you have about 2.6GHz speed, you’ll be fine. I have 2.00GHz and it’s ok until I do video converting (so I do wish I had a faster processor).

Let’s recap. Around 6GB RAM, 2.6GHz processor (probably Intel dual core), so that’s what we have so far. They are the most important things in a computer. But a graphics card is also important. A lot of computers will have a shared graphics card. These aren’t very good. If you buy a computer online, you can usually customize it a bit. (Again, if you’re doing simple stuff, word etc then go for a 512mb independent graphics card) Try and get 1GB independent graphics and even more if you’re doing hard-core 3d gamming.

Now, there are a few graphics cards out there that you can choose from. The 2 most sold are Nvidia and Ati. I (and most other people) prefer Nvidia. Especially the Nvidia GeForce.

So, so far we got the RAM, processor and graphics card. They are the most important things. Once you have those, you will be fine.

You can then however go onto things like Operating system, Hard Drive, CD/DVD Drive, display and Networking.

Having said all that, if you recently bought a computer and it is slow, there could be hundreds of reasons; virus, not enough RAM or maybe it’s just a lemon.

If you think that you have a virus, do the following.

Download Malwarebytes anti-malware from download.com

Perform a full scan. (Note: A quick scan can take from 2 minutes to 20 minutes) A full scan will usually take at least an hour on most computers. And most of the viruses found are found towards the end of the scan. Once it’s complete, click on show results and then fix or delete or whatever it says. It will (or at least should) get rid of the viruses found. Then you have to restart your computer.

To be sure you got rid of all the viruses you can download Avast! Cleaner or buy Avast! Pro. Avast! Is good because it scans the memory for active viruses which may prevent you from finding them. Scan, and fix the problems found.

Viruses can get into your computer in many ways. From going on dodgy websites, via USB, too many programs running.

So try to eliminate the amount of icons you have running in the background. Look at your taskbar in the bottom right corner. If there are a lot of programs down there then try to get rid of some of them. For example if you have Bluetooth running, sync, touchpad and other totally pointless programs, right click and get rid of them because they will slow down your computer. Maybe you have downloaded limewire and it starts when you turn your computer on. Turn it off. Limewire uses a lot of RAM (and can easily give you viruses). To stop programs from starting automatically, press windows key – R and type in msconfig go to the startup tab, you will get a list of programs which start up with your computer. Any programs you know you don’t need un-tick. If you’re unsure, google it. You can also go to the Services tab (Make sure you tick Hide all Microsoft services down the bottom) and then google in any you are unsure of.

If you don’t think you have a virus, maybe you have a registry problem. Download Advanced System Care. There is the free version (which is good but obviously not as good as the paid version). Download it from download.com

Install, Scan and fix. Any of the problems found can be repaired without damaging anything on your computer. This is a very good program which will almost guarantee you a faster computer.

An even better program is TuneUp Utilities. However the free version is only for 30-days. So either clean your computer with it and then forget about it or download the hacked version. (You can go to youtube and there are many ways of doing it).

This program is especially good because it defragments your registry. Do all the scans and turn on Turbo Mode and it will definitely speed up your computer at least a bit.

If you have vista, you can go to My Computer, then at the top you will see a tab called System Properties. Click it, then on the left there is a tab called Advanced System Settings. Click it, from there go to settings under performance, and click adjust for best performance. You won’t have all the fancy 5 looking icons etc but it will

Answer:Both monitors seem promising after seeing their statistics, but going with LG might be your best bet.

The LG has a more connection types than the ASUS.

The LG has a slightly better viewing angle.

21.5" to 20" isn't a big difference at all.

ASUS has a bigger "Recommended Resolution" @ 1920×1080, though that will still work on the LG.

ASUS seems to be a split second faster from it's "Response Time".

LG has a longer warranty plan.

I say, if you're doing basic computer stuff then go with LG. LG is a fairly recognized brand and they make darn good televisions and monitors. ASUS sounds like a third-party brand judging by its popularity.

Answer:i have worked with many of the asus they are nice the asus has a faster response time and the resolution is better LG is nice but i would personally go with the asus

Answer:LG tends to make really nice things, plus i think it would work the best. ASUS isn't a really big brand. idk ur choice in the end, but id go with the lg personally

I really dont think you can

Answer:The only way to do this is to have a dedicated computer act as a bridge. You connect the USB adapter to the computer, then connect the computer via Ethernet to the WAN port on the router. If the bridge box runs Windows, you would need to enable internet connection sharing.

Note that most mobile broadband adapters need special middleware from the service provider; this middleware disables internet connection sharing to prevent you from sharing the connection and doing, specifically, what you're trying to do. One wireless connection simply doesn't have the capacity to support multiple clients.

I love certain blogs to watch, but the most disappointing thing i can't download some of my favorite vids from that site
